White Rabbit Theatre and Kim M. Jones seek strong, ensemble-based actors adept at both comedy and drama for Danny, a comedy/drama written and directed by Andrew Rothkin, performing at The Bleecker Street Theatre in June as part of the 2010 Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, New York City's premier eco-friendly theatre festival. JOHN, 27 – 33, any ethnicity; gay (though you’d never know it on first sight); smart, attractive; the most emotionally complex of the group who is trying to get his life together while facing some major personal demons.

Increase Unlimited Productions is casting Dysfunction... The Play. Miranda J. Carr is the main writer, producer and title character; Jillina Baxter – Marketing Manager; Jason Cross – Technical Director & Set Designer; Tony Tambasco – Sound Engineer; Carliss J. Carr, Rashad Owens – Musicians. Auditions will be held every Saturday beginning in April 2010 from 10am – 6pm. The location will be announced at a later date. Synopsis: Vivian is a single, divorced mom of three that has had her share of problems. Vivian is a Marketing Director for a large firm and when they move their operations to Phoenix, Vivian has a choice to make, move to Phoenix or lose her job. With nothing left to lose, Vivian dives head first into love with a co-worker and a new beginning. Will it all last? Only God knows but Vivian is ready to step out on a little faith.

Lazar Wolf: Male to play 50- 60. Town butcher, wealthiest man in town. Strong and big in stature. A widower. A sense of the finer things in life but a bit crude in presence due to the nature of his work.

Motel: Male 18+ to play 20s. A tailor. Thin and lanky. Very quiet & reserved in his manner. A hard worker striving to make ends meet to support himself and marry Tzeitel. Baritone-Tenor.

Perchik: Male 18+ to play 20s. A student and revolutionary who has his own ideas about the problems of the world and his people, and has the answers to solve them. Attracted to Hodel and the intellectual challenge she presents. Baritone.

Fyedka: Male 18+ to play 20s. Russian peasant. Enjoys reading and has a very gentle manner. Displays a sense of respect for people, including those of the Jewish community. Has very strong feelings for Chava. Excellent Tenor.

Constable: Male to play 40s. The local law official. Very much a peasant himself, with a sense of duty to his job. Treats all with equal respect, but considers himself a cut above the rest (most notably the Jewish population) due to the uniform he wears.

The Growing Stage of Netcong, NJ, is holding an open call (Equity/non) for Peter and the Wolf. Equity TYA. Executive Director/Stage Dierctor: Stephen L. Fredericks. Musical Director: Laura Petrie. Book: Allison Gregory. Music: Hummie Mann. Based on the original story and music by Sergi Prokofiev. Rehearsal schedules are generally two or three evenings during the week, and a weekend afternoon. Runs: April 17 - May 23, with special premiere performance on Friday, April 16 at 7:30 pm and all remaining performances on Saturdays and Sundays at 4 pm. There is also the possibility of weekday school performances as well. Synopsis: Peter and his grandfather live in a house by a lush meadow and sparkling pond, overlooked by a sturdy tree and high stone wall. Grandfather warns Peter to stay out of the meadow because a wolf is on the prowl. But what little boy can resist playing outside on a beautiful day?
