Men please bring character and jazz shoes; women please bring character heels and flat jazz shoes. Please be prepared to sing if asked. Prepare 16 bars of two contrasting legit musical theatre songs with sheet music in the appropriate key. Songs should show off range (sopranos and tenors please show off your top range) and personality. Accompanist will be provided. All auditioning MUST bring a current headshot and resume, stapled together. Dave Clemmons Casting will hold auditions for the upcoming (2010-2011) national tour of The Wizard of Oz. WOMEN: Strong all-around performers 18 and up to play various characters in Munchkinland / Land of Oz. Must be very strong dancers. Good technique and partnering skills required. Must be strong singers with legit musical theatre sound. Strong soprano a bonus. At least 4 of the females need to be strong sopranos to high B. All types and heights encouraged to attend.
