New York Stage Casting Update: Oct 5th

Auditions will be on Wednesday, October 13, and Thursday, October 14, from 3PM to 5PM, at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis High School for International Careers, the former Fame High School for the Performing Arts. Location: 120 West 46th Street, between 6th Avenue and Broadway, New York City. Please bring a prepared song. Accompanist will be provided.

Open Call Auditions are being held for Rip Van Winkle, a Musical. Casting is Multi-Racial. This is two week Workshop, with a performance on November 4, 2010.

Seeking:
Rip: 30-40 years old. Popular with everyone. Always a smile and a joke.
 

Rip’s Wife: 24-34. Has seen life from many sides. The lady of the house.

Derrick: 30-40. Rip's rival and friend. An aristocrat. Owns most of the town.

Herman: 16-28 years old. Derrick's son. Ambitious. Headed for New York to make a fortune.

Alice: 14-22 years old. Our heroine. The most desirable catch in the village.

Knickerbocker: 16-28. Alice's suitor. The schoolteacher. Quick with his wits and his sword.

Henry Hudson: 35-45 years old. Legendary Explorer. Still seeking adventure.

Indian Woman: 25-40. Native-American. Wise. Experienced. She is the Mother-figure who tells the ancient stories of the past.

Indian Man: 25-50. Native-American. Tough, with a sense of humor. Speaks of what the future holds.

Lowena and Frederick: 7-12 years old. Outspoken and charming. They will one day run the show.
