Cross-Eyed Bear Productions is casting 2-3 male roles in Prince Trevor Amongst the Elephants, a Big Epic Naked Ridiculous Shakespearean Fairy Tale Play for Adults, to be produced in the Midtown International Theatre Festival this July. TheatreWorks New Milford is seeking two men, ages 20-35, and five women, ages 20-65, for its upcoming 50th anniversary production of the searing Tennessee Williams drama, Suddenly Last Summer. Southern accents are requested. All roles are available and both professionals and amateurs are welcome. The audition will consist of readings from the script. No appointments are necessary. TheatreWorks offers a stipend to all performers, technicians, and directors. Rehearsals begin in late May (usually Monday through Thursday evenings) with performances running from July 11 through August 2 on Fridays and Saturdays with a Sunday performance on July 27. TheatreWorks is an award-winning, non-Equity theatre company located on 5 Brookside Avenue, just off Route 202 (next to the CVS), in New Milford, CT.
